About Digital Sounds Barnsley

Digital Sounds Barnsley was set up for exactly the same reasons that Digital Sounds Radio & Lincoln, They were created, to bring together the communities of Barnsley and Lincolnshire, to create cohesion with in these communities and to create a place where ever loving people could focus their passion for music, speech and media all in one place, a place to learn new skills, meet new people and basically learn about how the media works whilst enjoying a little fun along the way!

Barnsley surrounded by lots and lots of acres of fields, farms and forests. We wanted to bring together all people  to sit and think about the world, to enjoy the music and programming and also create a vibrant and passionate learning experience for the people.

Digital Sounds Barnsley is proud to become a part of Digital Sounds Radio and with The mother ship watching over it's every whim, it will learn and develop and become unique under Digital Sounds Radio's watchful eye.
